location was great and the STAFF were amazing. The staff was kind, attentive, and always ready to answer your questions or give you great recommendations. The only thing we didn't like was the breakfast buffet. Too expensive for what you get. It should be cheaper. save your money and go somewhere local.

Amazing location, walkable to everything, with a friendly staff. The breakfast was exceptional. But the best thing was the coordination of the ZTL and garage, super simple and stress-free.

To visit the Duomo and some other monuments, you need to book tickets at least 2 months in advance. You need to prepare for a lot of tourists.
Walks around the city and gardens (I recommend Bardini garden) are best from early in the morning to the noon, because of the light and warmth. The Da Vinci Museum and especially the Galileo Museum are also excellent - modern, educational and with the opportunity to try things out. Social life in the streets, dinner on the street or square are super. Florence / Firenze is beautiful, Enjoy :-))

An amazing city full of art treasures.
An amazing city full of art treasures. Very busy with visitors and could get a bit wearing coping with all the people. However, walking made such a difference and it was pretty easy to escape the crowds. Purchased the Firenze card - which was great value. If you buy it on-line you can extend for an addition 48 hours free of charge on top of the three days. This helped us not have to rush to see everything and have time to relax too.

Probably best to visit early or late in the year as it gets mobbed. Try to plan your trip so that you can take advantage of most Italian museums being free on the first Sunday of the month. This include the Uffizi which opens at 08.15 so best to get in the queue about 30 minutes earlier to take advantage of this fact.

Firenze always amazing. My favorite place to vacation. I have been to most of the main sites so I don't do a lot of sightseeing anymore but I love the people and the city. It is surrounded by so much culture and wonderful cities that are easily accessible by train or tour.

So much history, shopping and food - 2 days was too short.
So much history, shopping and food - 2 days was too short. Florence is a beautiful city filled with so much history.
We took a tour of the Uffizi and Accademia. Our tour guide also included some history of some of the significant sites on the walk between the two museums. It was very interesting.
We ate at some awesome restaurants too. Trattoria ZaZa was our favorite but be prepared for long lines or make reservations.
If you visit the Mercato Centrale, you may never leave. You can purchase all sorts of leather items for very reasonable prices. We had to buy an extra bag to bring everything home.
Be sure to walk along one of the bridges to take some photos.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The bed was one of the best we've experienced during our trip in Italy. The location is fantastic—centrally located and just a short walk from the train station. The area is vibrant, with plenty of dining and café options nearby.
The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Without a doubt, this is a place we would love to return to! Highly recommended!
One of our best stay in Italy. The hotel is just about 300m away from Santa Novella Maria train station and it was very convenient for us to move around from Florence to other nearby towns. It was also in a very central location which was close to Duomo. The breakfast spread was great. There is a small terrace at the top floor where we can experience the city view. Amazing!
Great location, right by the main spots of Florence and train station. Staff was friendly, something hard to find in most of Italy. Did not get to try their breakfast on terrace but got to go up and see the area and view, it was a really nice place. the hotel itself is also very interesting and feels like a museum on its own.
Such a lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Florence. Breakfast was delicious and our family room was so spacious, with two separate bedrooms. One of the best places we stayed in our trip around Italy. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.
The best hotel that I stay in Italy! Location is perfect, room is super clean and friendly staff. I wish I will stay in Canto degli Aranci again in my next Florence visit. This place makes my travel very well. Highly recommended!
